Small Projects ProgramStudents Surveying

The Small Projects program allows students to gain experience in cultural resources management by working on real-world contracts under the supervision of ASC staff. The projects primarily involve archaeological survey, but also include monitoring, lab work, records searches, scoping, and report-writing.

 

Volunteering

Volunteer opportunities are available for both undergraduate and graduate students and who wish to participate in specified ASC projects. For example, in October 2018, nineteen volunteers with undergraduate-level experience in anthropology or archaeology, or master's degrees in CRM from SSU participated in pedestrian survey on various field days (pictured below).
