DOSHIA DODD is the CalNAGPRA Tribal Liaison, Staff archaeologist and Administrative Support at the Anthropological Studies Center, Sonoma State University. She frequently works simultaneously between the ASC Archaeology Lab, processing historic and prehistoric artifact collections, ASC starch grain research lab processing starch grain residues from bedrock milling feature, and ASC Administration. She is responsible for ASC administrative tasks such as internal budget tracking, personnel costs, payroll and billing processing, as well as conducting ASC guest tours. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Doshia specializes in archaeobotany, paleoethnobotany, starch grain analysis and native plant restoration. Doshia has experience in a variety of regions throughout California. These include the San Francisco Bay Area, North Coast Ranges, High Sierras, and the Sacramento Valley.
