California Humanities is hosting a virtual panel that will reflect upon how the humanities are interacting with communities affected by the fires. The panel will feature a group of California Humanities-supported projects that will share stories from the front lines of the wildfires. ASC's oral historian, Dana Shew, will be one of the panelists and will share her experiences working on her California Humanities sponsored project, Ashes from Ashes: Recovering Cremains from the Wreckage of California Wildfires.
Join us November 30, 2021 at 4pm PT for a facilitated discussion, followed by a Q&A. Register for free here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/art-of-storytelling-online-fire-tales-tickets-207598652157
