JULIE RIGGS coordinates workflow policies and operations within the between university departments and outside agencies. In her duties with payroll, invoicing, and purchasing, she brings attention to detail and efficiency gained through 25 years of experience managing accounting and administrative operations.
Julie has worked in a variety of certified public accountancy firms, educational institutions, private clients, and prominent local businesses, several of whom contracted primarily with state agencies. In the accounting sector, Julie’s expertise includes full-charge bookkeeping, budget creation, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, payroll tax reporting, fund accounting, records management, and scheduling. She has also served in human resources capacities, managing employee healthcare benefits and COBRA enrollment, onboarding and hiring processes, and workers' compensation reporting. Julie maintains high operational standards through ongoing education in best practices and evolving accounting technologies, ensuring efficiency, innovation, accuracy, and compliance.
